Here at GlitterStarz, we love celebrating our achievements, big or small. Employees are encouraged to "toot their own horn" when something exciting happens, like meeting a sales goal or designing a beautiful new pattern. Here is an inside look at a fun tool we use in the office to track and celebrate our achievements every day.
On the main entry wall, there is a large poster of outer space, containing 41 different colored "planets." Every time an achievement is made, we gather at the front to "move the rocket" 1 or two spaces. Each time we reach a new colored zone, prizes are awarded to the employee. For example, entering a new zone could win you a Starbucks card or lunch on the boss!
It is a fun and exciting way to share our achievements with other employees and keep track of sales goals.
