2) How long have you been coaching?
“I coached for a few years in the beginning until my 2 daughters were able to take over. With their help and several of others over the years we have grown. I have been coaching the tiny team the last few years."
3) What is your team's "motto" or set of rules that you live by?
“I have always told our athletes that it's more about doing your personal best than it is about being the best. I stress the importance of good sportsmanship. Not everyone can win every time, but everyone should be a good sport all the time. Win with grace and lose with grace. Cheer on everyone on every team no matter what gym they belong to. Of Course, we want to win but we all know that can't always happen."
4) what is one thing you have learned, from the beginning of coaching until now?
“Over the years I have learned that each child is unique and special and wants to be noticed. We treat all of our athletes like family. I know the names of all my athletes, their parents and siblings. As a small gym we are there to support each other through anything. Sometimes the gym is their escape from the daily stress of life. Sometimes it is the support system that helps them deal with the stress on the outside. "
5) how was your experience working with our company?
“Over the years I have worked with many different companies for uniforms. Not all have been positive experiences. Last season I choose to work with Glitterstarz and it was the best decision I have made. I love the creativity of the staff and the quality of the products. My gym colors are teal, silver and black. Teal has been a very difficult color to get right, but Glitterstarz was able to give me the exact color I was searching for. Their customer service is amazing! Any issues I have had they have been very quick to correct and make right. I am a loyal customer for life."
