"Myself (Melanie Martinez) and Bobby Frausto are co-owners of our gym Prime Time Cheer & Tumbling and founders of Royal Prime All-Stars. We began this journey April 2015. Coach Bobby was my daughter's tumbling coach, and he saw a lot of potential in her as she self taught how to do a back handspring. Breanna, my daughter, was tumbling under him while being part of a recreational cheer squad. Well, all of those parents asked who was teaching her how to tumble, and they all started to go with us to tumbling. The girls were learning how to tumble in a small room with about 1 lane in it. Long story short, I asked Bobby if he would like to start a competition team. He asked where, and I said in my wrestling room (as my husband and I own a wrestling gym as well). He said, well I have never run a squad before, and I said "well I have the space, and I can get uniforms if you can coach." So now its 2019, and we will be running our gym 4 years and taking our team Royal Prime All-stars to their 5th season. We began with 14 athletes and today we have 78 athletes which make up our 5 squads. Coach Bobby is the talent behind our amazing athletes and I'm a crazy mom that said I believe in you. "
“WOW!!! We have learned so much in a very short period of time. Coaching is never easy, and all athletes learn at different speeds. But what we have learned the most is from our athletes. These athletes are family and mean the world to us and they teach us lessons everyday. Without them, we would not be where we are today. They are what makes us successful. As coaches, we have to stick together and keep learning so that our athletes continue to evolve. "

“Past season was our 1st time going to D2 Summit, it was such an amazing experience. We our fairly new squad and we took one of our 2 squads and they made it to the finals. Our team slogan "Always Fear Royalty" symbolizes that we together can conquer."
“Our gym, our team was once a "what if" that became a "reality". A crazy mom with a fearless, brave, talented little girl with an amazing young tumbling coach just decided one day that we would give this a try and amazing 14 families believed in us and went on this journey with us. And everyone would tell me you won't be successful building a gym around your All-Star team, and I said watch me. As we teach our athletes to believe in themselves and I believe in them, I believed in myself, my daughter and Coach Bobby and here we are today.
